TEKO Plastic Formwork for Concrete Walls
Connecting the Elements
To build a plastic formwork for concrete walls, place the panels next to each other and align the holes. If possible, install the handles following the sequence shown in the figure. Once you have completely finished joining the two panels, proceed to install the next one. Follow the same procedure for each subsequent panel.
To connect main panels with dimensions 150×60 cm, 120×60 cm, 150/25 cm and 120/25 cm, use Handle 8. To connect medium and small panels, use Handle 5. To connect main panels with medium or small ones, use Handle 6.
Assembling Formwork
1. Place two panels on a flat surface with the smooth side facing down and join them with the required number of handles.
2. Assemble another pair of panels as described in point 1.
3. Align the pairs of panels and arrange them with the smooth sides facing each other.
4.Using spacers, tie rods and nuts, install the formwork as shown in the figure.
5. Continue installing the next panels to the already built formwork.
6. Once you start building a second row of formwork on top of the first one, you need to install pull push props.
7. Install one panel on one side of the already constructed first row of formwork.
8. Opposite of it, install another panel on the second side of the formwork.
9. Install the pull push prop using a spacer, tie rod and nuts as shown in the figure.
10. Secure the pull push prop to the base using a direct-mount screw to concrete or other suitable fastener.
Stop-End Wall Formwork
Use the elements of the TEKO system for quick and easy close the end of walls and openings for doors, windows, etc.
You can also use beams (А) and boards (B), as shown in the figure.
Fixing to the Base
1. Erect the formwork onto the base.
2. Align the formwork and fix it to the base using a fixing plate 40×40×45 as shown in the figure.
3. Alternatively, you can use a wooden board with a thickness of 4 cm.
4.Secure the board to the base using fasteners.
5. Fix the formwork in place by nailing pieces of wood across the board.
Attention: Do not drive nails into the formwork.
Strengthening Plastic Formwork for Concrete Walls
1. The pull push props are installed at a distance of no more than 180 cm from each other.
2. The distance from the end of the formwork (the vertical edge or the outer corner of the plastic formwork panel) to the first pull push prop is no more than 90 cm.
3. The alignment walings are installed at the distance shown in the figure.
Attention: The additional components – alignment walings, pull push props, tie rods, nuts, etc. – shown in the images must comply with construction requirements and standards.
